  • Can I modify my reservation?
    Yes, you can modify your reservation at anytime prior to your arrival. However, if payment has been received for your booking, your modifications may not reduce the number of days or value of your original booking.
  • Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?
    No, you can make reservations without a credit card. Once reservations are made through our website, a member of our team will contact you to discuss your preferred payment method.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    You can cancel reservations at anytime before arrival, however, once payments are made, we consider the reservation to be secured. From this point payments are non-refundable. Guests are permitted to make changes to their reservation.
  • How can I make a reservation?
    You can make a reservation by clicking on “Book Now” or “Room” and select the duration of your stay and the room type you require. Then follow the instructions to complete the reservation. Once completed a member of our team will contact you to confirm the reservation and discuss payment options.   • What types of rooms are available?
    We have four room types available: 1. Standard Room 2. Deluxe Room – Larger executive room 3. Twin Room – Room with two double beds within it. 4. Studio Apartment – Our suite that incorporates a kitchen and sitting area.
  • Are there any connecting rooms available?
    Yes, our Studio Apartments can be connected to our standard room allowing for a private two-bedroom apartment.
  • What is included in the room rate?
    For our single occupancy rate guests will get breakfast for one inclusive. For our double occupancy rate guests will receive breakfast for two.
  • Do the suites have a kitchen?
    Yes, our Studio Apartment only.
  • What payment options are available?
    Payments can be made via the following options: 1. Cash 2. Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards 3. Mobile Money
  • What is the area like around the hotel?
    The hotel is situated in East Legon, which is one of the most popular well built-up areas of Accra. The hotel itself is situation in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance from the main vibrant areas of East Legon.
  • Can I change the currency at the hotel reception desk
    No, but our staff will aid you to make currency changes at a local forex bureau.
  • Are there any restaurants or attractions nearby?
    East Legon, is known as the most vibrant area of Accra. Situated only a few minutes away from the hotel are plenty of shops, restaurants and a buzzing nightlife scene. The area also has the AC Mall which is a large mall with a mix of shops and restaurants.
  • In which currency is the payment made?
    Payments can be made in Ghana Cedis or any other major foreign currency i.e. Dollar, GBP & Euro
  • Is early check-in or late check-out available?
    Yes, early check-in and late check-out are permitted at a fee. However, this will be strictly based on availability at the time of request.
  • How can I confirm my booking?

  • Can I check in online?
    No, we do not currently have online check-in
  • What identification is required at check-in?
    You will require a photo identification, e.g. passport, drivers’ license, national ID card.
  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    Guest can check in from 2pm on their scheduled arrival date. Our check-out time is 11am on the scheduled day of departure.
  • Is breakfast included?
    Breakfast for one is included in our single occupancy price. Any additional breakfast is charged at Ghs150 per person.
  • Does the hotel have a gym or pool?
    We have a gym. We do not have a swimming pool.
  • Is there a laundry service?
    Yes, we offer a laundry service available to all guests.
  • Is there free Wi-Fi available?
    Yes, we have hi-speed broadband internet throughout the hotel.
  • Is the hotel accessible for guests with disabilities?
    We do not have a general provision to cater for persons with disabilities.
  • What time is the gym open?
    Our gym is open from 6am -11am daily.
  • Can I request a wake-up call?
    Yes, guests may request for a wake-up call through our reception.
  • What amenities are included in my stay?
    Afrokan Hotel (Main site) offers a gym, restaurant and bar as its main amenities. There are no amenities available at our Annexe Facility site.
  • What are the parking options?
    We have free parking areas within the property itself as well as secured external parking.
  • Can I request housekeeping?
    Yes, guest may request for housekeeping.
  • Are pets allowed?
    No pets allowed within our property.
